
Food and dining at Geiterygghytta
With us at Geiterygghytta, you will be served real home-cooked traditional food to get good and full of. The food is made from the bottom and is mainly based on short-traveled and local ingredients.
Serving hours
Buffet breakfast
- Host served between 08:00 and 09:30.
The breakfast buffet has a rich content with noko for a lasting taste. From the breakfast buffet, you can make a packed lunch and fill a thermos for today's trip.
Lunch
- Me serves lunch every day between 12:00 and 16:00.
On the menu are sour cream porridge with cured meats, soup of the day with bread, mountain blings, patty sandwiches with fried eggs, salad, waffles with sour cream and jam as well as yeast baked goods and cakes.
Me also serves hot drinks such as coffee, tea and cocoa with cream.
Midday
- Me serves dinner at 19:00.
Me serves a 3-course dinner, but on Saturdays I serves a dinner buffet.
Select: During the high season, there may be more table sittings. The times for dinner can then deviate from the usual.
Allergies
We serve gluten-free and lactose-free menus to guests who have allergies, if this has been booked in advance. Let us know about your allergies and food preferences so that we can take this into account in our cooking.
Brought food and drink
- It is not allowed to enjoy brought food or alcoholic beverages in our café, inside the cabin or in the cabin's outdoor area (Serving area).
Good drinks with the food
Me has a license to serve alcohol with all rights. The hosts are from Hardanger and offer locally produced cider and apple juice from various producers.
Kiosk goods
At the reception/kiosk you can buy everything from soft drinks and chocolate to socks, hats, toiletries, ski wax and more.
