Fannaråkhytta is Norway's highest DNT cabin, at 2068 meters above sea level. Few peaks can compete with Fannaråken's view. The summit is the highest place in Northern Europe where one can both be served dinner and stay overnight. The Fannaråk plateau is very hard, and in snowy winters, the buildings are often completely gone under the snow. The cabin is only open in the summer months, from the end of June to the beginning of September.
