Summit hike to Høgronden
Høgronden (2118 masl) has a spectacular view, and is one of the peaks in Rondane that you can reach relatively easily on a day trip.
Summit hike to Rondeslottet
Rondeslottet is Rondane's highest peak and provides a great view of the Rondane massif. The hike up is heavy, but the reward is an absolutely fantastic view.
Hike to Skjerdalen (Villmanndalen)
Skjerdalen is one of many gorges that existed until the ice in the inland melted 10-14,000 years ago. This is an interesting and fun hike, through a narrow gorge with lush vegetation. Here you can see flowers that you would not find elsewhere in the mountains. The trip takes three hours back and eighteen, and is suitable for all ages.
Trip to Musvoldsæter - a pleasant aftermath
An easy, cozy trip along the old cart road that goes down to Atnsjøen. Musvollsæter was the first major tourist cabin in Aust-Rondane. Musvoldsæter is currently rented out on a fixed-term basis. The trip is about two and a half kilometers.
