Food and drink at Aurlandsdalen Turisthytte
The food we serve is homemade and much of the ingredients are from the local environment.
Local food
All guests will get recognizable traditional food, but we will also offer food with inspiration from other cultures adapted to the Norwegian mountains. For dinner, you can choose between a full three-course or a plate dish, in addition we serve à la carte between breakfast and dinner. We have a license to serve alcohol with all rights.
Local food is part of the tour
DNT focuses on local and sustainable food. With local and seasonal food, DNT's serviced cabins contribute to sustainable food, nature experiences and dining experiences go hand in hand. DNT collaborates with, among others, the Norwegian Farmers' Association and Organic Norway, and Innovation Norway supports the project financially.
